What you'll do
In this engaging ceramic candle-making series, you will dive into the world of pottery class and learn the art of crafting beautiful ceramic candles to illuminate your space. Discover the wonderful process of hand-building as you mould and shape the clay into unique candle holders that reflect your personal style.Don't worry if you're new to pottery – this workshop is designed for beginners and aims to provide a supportive and encouraging environment for you to explore your creativity. You'll be guided step-by-step on how to work with clay and create stunning pieces that you'll be proud to display in your home.Throughout the activity, you'll get hands-on experience with pottery tools and materials, allowing you to unleash your imagination and see your ideas come to life. By the end of the class, you'll take home your own handcrafted ceramic candles, ready to bring warmth and elegance to any room.This series consists of 3 classes on a fortnightly basis:
- In the first class, you will get to make your candle holder out of clay.
- In the second class, you will get to paint and glaze your candle holder.
- In the third class, you will get to make your own fragrant candle wax and pour it into your candle holder.
