Drawing Class for Beginners

Build your confidence in the understanding of drawing and develop your skills from zero! Don't listen to anyone who says you cannot do it. You can!In just two hours, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills and explore various mediums. Let our experienced teacher guide you through each step of the process, offering individualised instructions to help you unlock your artistic potential.This class will feature still-life set-ups, allowing you to practise academic drawing techniques and learn how to capture composition accurately. Through hands-on exercises and demonstrations, you will explore different mediums, such as graphite, charcoal and ink. What you will learn:

• Composition
• Proportions and measurements
• Understanding of perspective
• Shading and Light
• Human face and head drawing proportions
• Human figure proportions

By the end of the class, you will have honed your techniques, developed a deeper understanding of various mediums and produced an impressive body of work to proudly showcase.Join our art workshop every Monday at Redland Coast Art Society and embark on a creative journey that will leave you inspired and empowered.
