What you'll do
Looking for unique things to do in Melbourne? Join this fun, beginner-friendly course, where you will get to create a variety of colourful dried flower arrangements. Hosted by one of our friendly and highly experienced workshop hosts, Courtney or Jess, they will help you to get introduced to this beautiful craft and show you the basics of flower arranging. This hands-on course runs over four weeks, where it is ideal for all levels of experience. Especially useful for those who have attended our initial Bubbles and Blooms workshop, although it is not a prerequisite.Week 1: Bloom BasicsLearn dried flower principals while making your own mini vase arrangement or mini posy if you have already made a mini vase arrangement before.Week 2: Moons & FramesThis week you will learn how to apply dried flowers differently and learn the hot glue floral application method to either your own metal moon or photo frame.Week 3: Level UpThis week you will learn how to take your skills and transfer them onto a bigger landscape. You will get a chance to create a showpiece - a large fluffy dried floral vase arrangement.Week 4: Arbours and Wall InstallsHere you combine all of your skills to create one amazing arbour piece for an event or a wall install for your own home! This is the largest piece you will create. At the end of this course, you get to take home all of your own creations, as well as some newfound flower arranging skills!
