Discover the art of working with silver to create beautiful jewellery to take home in this silversmithing course in Port Stephens. You'll learn how to shape, mould and polish silver into unique pieces that reflect your style and creativity. This is perfect for those of you that have a specific design in mind you'd like to create.
Your first session will be a practise project and design session. Start thinking about your ideas ahead of time and feel free to get in contact with any questions you have.
10 grams of sterling silver will be supplied towards your own designs however, you can buy more/other metal from me or supply it yourself.
Old jewellery can be melted and used, but please note this takes additional time to prepare. Depending on the complexity of your designs, you could make 1-2 pieces in the four-week timeframe, possibly more if you stick with simple designs.
Classes will run with the school term. You can book for:
1/2 term four weeks $500
or
Full term eight weeks $950 (add this on as an extra)
If you book for the full term, there will be a 1-week break after 4 weeks. These classes will not run during the school holidays.
Throughout the classes, you will be introduced to various techniques and tools used in silversmithing, allowing you to unleash your creativity and craft custom one-of-a-kind pieces.
