On the hunt for some eco-friendly experiences in Melbourne? This fun, 'let your creativity loose' kind of workshop is perfect for all eco-warriors and those wanting to learn more about sustainable crafts!
In this class, your experienced teacher Angela Clark will teach you two great techniques to use to create paper jewellery. One technique is how to spin recycled paper on a drop spindle, usually used for spinning yarn. The second technique is how to cut and roll papers to create beads.
The two techniques can be used together to create some fabulous DIY jewellery pieces that you'll be able to take home at the end of the workshop!

Angela Clark is the designer and maker behind the luxury jewellery brand Angela Clark that has been creating unique jewellery for women and men for 15 years now in Melbourne.
Angela is celebrated in Australia and overseas for her unique craftsmanship which includes the use of recycled, upcycled, uncirculated vintage stock together with ethically sourced beads from the Czech Republic and Ethiopia.
Angela’s focus is on creating elegant, functional jewellery for everyday wear and special occasions.
Clark encourages the preciousness of ownership of jewellery and likes to make people aware of the intrinsic value of that piece... loved for the very reason that it brings the wearer joy and not based solely on whether it’s made of gold or silver.
Many of the components woven into her work are already 50 plus years old and collectables in their own right, to give these pieces new life is a joy and thrill that Clark wants to encourage the wearer to feel.
Angela is passionate about sharing her knowledge and skills with others, here in Australia as well as the USA and Ethiopia. Angela has travelled to Ethiopia several times to teach and mentor young women and assist in areas of business development and training.
Aside from her work internationally Angela has worked extensively in Australia teaching her skills in universities, schools, hospitals and with many more diverse groups of adults and children.
Angela’s work has featured on many red carpets and in most recent years she has held solo exhibitions at New York Fashion Week’s Sustainable Fashion Day.
