Freestyle Dance Lesson for Beginner / Intermediate Dancers

I help my clients to acquire the skills and confidence to get up and dance in any situation. My classes are available to everyone at any age. I accept requests for choreography teaching, polishing up dance moves, or other personal dance projects. Please discuss your needs before booking a lesson.I generally focus on freestyle and self-expression type dancing. I guide my client on how to use their arms, legs, and whole body to the rhythm/beats/words of the music/song and how to tune in so they can respond to the song internally and externally. After demonstrating/practising moves, we dance to various songs that can be partially or fully the client's choice, and the client can either copy me or, if able, can just go freely in their style. It also depends on what the client's needs and requests are.The atmosphere is set by the lights of an LED disco lamp and my deep pink curtains and/or hats and flowers. All my arrangements are flexible, and I accept requests for alterations to be discussed.Best suited for beginners or intermediate level dancers.A lesson is 45 mins long plus 5 mins stretching. We can shorten it to 30 mins or extend it to 60-120 mins on request (price follows). The lesson fee includes:

• my preparatory work (1-4 hours/lesson), which is focused on meeting every detail of your project requirements for the upcoming lesson, - dance hall hire ($20-30/hr)
• the session itself (50 mins)
• aftercare (messages, feedback, support, before-during-after).

I am open to teaching a group of people (2-15) if they all want to learn the same moves.I run my own dance business named Women In The Rhythm (group dancing exclusively for ladies of all ages in Moggill). My private sessions are held in suburbs that belong to the 4069/4070 area codes. I either hire a hall for us or travel to the client on request if I find that suitable.I am willing to travel outside these area codes upon agreement.Please note that in the past, I didn't do photos with private clients, but there is a group photo of my regular group dancers. Please note that this kind of dancing is usually very personal; therefore, most of my dancers stay away from catching them on the lens for public viewing.

• The client will get a "before" and "after" video recording of their dancing.
• The client will get access to the online playlist that is used during the session(s).
• The client will receive a "summary" after the session(s) with highlights and reminders.
• The client can stay in touch with the trainer, to ask relevant questions and receive email reminders/answers.
• The client can request the trainer to perform a move or a set of moves on the trainer's device and send it to the client for future reference/reminder of the learning.
